The Origin Story

In 2018, when I was diagnosed with PCOS, I embarked on a journey into herbalism and began formulating my own skin and body care products. PCOS, rooted in endocrine disruption, led me to explore holistic remedies, uncovering the harmful effects of chemicals in store-bought products. As I delved deeper, I gradually transitioned to crafting my entire skincare regimen, from head to toe. With growing expertise, I extended my creations to friends and family until deciding to share them with the wider public.

Why Oxomo?

Oxomo (O-sho-mo), inspired by Aztec folklore's Oxomooco, symbolizes the essence of magic, healing, creation, and evolution. Like the shaman depicted with a butterfly mask, my products embody rejuvenation, resilience, and a touch of enchantment. Our commitment at Oxomo Body Care is unwavering: to utilize the most naturally sourced, non-toxic ingredients in small-batch, handcrafted formulations for gentle, healthy, sustainable, and effective products. Ethically and sustainably sourced herbs, organic whenever possible, undergo safe home preparation for herbal extracts.
